Student Publications

The excellence of alumni of Peradeniya Medical School is not limited to the field of medicine; they display numerous talents in other realms as well, and one of them is arts. For some, following the passion for arts began during their undergraduate days, when they had to eke out hours off a hectic schedule of work to find solitude with their artistic sentiments. And when they did so, more often than not, their creations were inspired by subtle moments they encountered within the unique atmosphere of Peradeniya.

PeMSAA believes that similar talents in current generations need to be nurtured so that in time to come, they will stand tall like their predecessors’. Hence, support has been rendered by PeMSAA in the recent past for book-launch events by the medical students. Further to that, this PeMSAA official website provides space for them to showcase their publications.

sarasaviyama premayak

  monali thilakarathna Author: Monali Thilakarathna
  Batch: 2014/15

'Sarasaviyama Premayak’ can be introduced as an attempt to reminisce the bygone university life, one of the most fascinating time periods one could have during their lifetime. Touching the facets of love in both who did and did not have that opportunity, this novel is a collection of wonderful experiences witnessed during university life. This is not yet another average fiction; it is a piece of writing about the bonds such as love, fraternity and friendship that we all have experienced in our lives, but often go unnoticed.
