Regional meeting of PeMSAA in collaboration with the Nawalapitiya Clinical Society was successfully held at the Eye Auditorium, District General Hospital, Nawalapitiya on 27th August 2025. The meeting was held under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Prof. Saman Nanayakkara, who attended as the chief guest. Discussions focused on advancements in clinical practice and fostering stronger community health initiatives. The resource persons of the event were Dr Janaka Somarathne (Director, District General Hospital, Nawalapitiya), Dr. Chathurika Dandeniya (Senior Lecturer & Consultant Rheumatologist), Dr. Shreeni Godevithanage (Consultant Neurologist), Dr. Madhuranga Jayasundara (Consultant Gynecologist & Obstetrician), Dr. Shanika Ekanayake (Consultant Psychiatrist), Dr. K Kandeepan (Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon), and Prof. Pathum Dissanayake (Professor in Pediatrics).
